Roy Diblik Bio & Philosophy

Noted plantsman and designer, Roy has spent more than 30 years studying, growing, and enjoying plants. He is the owner of Northwind Perennial Farm, a nursery in Burlington, Wisconsin, and is best known as the plantsman behind the Lurie Garden at Millenium Park in Chicago.

Roy's knowledge of plants comes from the plants themselves and the knowledgeable people he’s come to know. Whatever your gardening goals may be, the healthiest results come from plant knowledge which supports healthy plant communities designed with creative composition.

The Garden Shop kiosk is bursting with surprises. Find something extra-special for your garden, a gift for a special friend or family member, or tasty treat for yourself. We have a fun, curated collection of gifts, books, specialty foods, and garden tools and decor. Concessions are available for purchase at the Welcome Counter throughout the day.
